BIOGRAPHY:

Thorsten kleine Holthaus, born in 1982 in Branschweig (Germany), started studying communication design in 2004 with a focus on photo design at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences. Between 2005 and 2010, while still a student, he gained practical experience as an assitant to various photographers, including Karin Hessmann as well as Ralf Müller, several of whose food books he contributed to. In 2011 he graduated his studies.

Since 2006 Thorsten kleine Holthaus has also been active as a freelance photographer. His personal work was awarded with several international design prizes, for example the red dot award and London International Creative Competition. Every shown work was a collaboration with the chef René Bastian Stein. Thorsten kleine Holthaus works and lives as a freelance photographer in Düsseldorf.
